MAIN FRAME AND CONFIGURATIONCHIDGE
The CT-PS380T Towable passenger stairs mainly consists of towable chassis frame, fixed stairs, sliding stairs, lifting mechanism, hydraulic system and electric system, etc.
1. Towable chassis frame

Front Towbar
The towbar has 4 different conditions:
● Working or parking condition with brake.
● Push by manpower condition
● Towing by tractor condition
● Towbar automatic brake at lowest position

2. Activity Ladders
The complete ladder part connects with the chassis frame through hinges behind the ladder body. The parallel four-sided mechanism ensures that the step remains horizontal. The step uses anti-skid chequered aluminum panels in thickness of 4mm. The side panels are covered with double-side aluminum plastic plates and it is equipped with stainless steel hand rails and LED lights.
3. Upper Platform
The platform was covered with anti-skid chequered aluminum panels in thickness of 4mm. The front end of the upper platform has D-shape Rubber bumper. The front end of platform has automatic retraction and swing mechanism. Two sides of the platform fits with movable rails with height of 1100mm and traveling movement (forward to back).
4. Lifting mechanism
The lifting mechanism mainly consists of main lifting cylinder, detent cylinder, locking mechanism, etc. The lifting hydraulic cylinder is the power cylinder of the lifting mechanism. The lifting cylinder is provided with hydraulic lock, detent cylinder and the locking mechanism which is safety protection devices and performs as twin locks.
5. Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system consists of hydraulic pump, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic stabilizers, traveling motor, hydraulic control valve units and hydraulic accessories. The hydraulic valve units are famous EATON branded and the pipelines are using hard pipes in good brand for safety and reliability.
6. Electrical system
The equipment has fully functional electrical system which makes the stairs being operated easily and conveniently. It has necessary instruments, monitoring and alarming system to make the operation safely. On the operation and instrumental panel there has devices including: fuel meter, engine hour meter, various indicators, Emergency stop button, etc. Through the electrical system the units can be operated including stabilizer up-down, ladder up-down, lighting, etc.
7. Safety Features
oTwin locking system for safety operation, including Hydraulic lock on hydraulic lifting cylinder with one set of mechanical lock
oAnti-collision switch and rubber bumper equipped on front of moveable platform for safety operation
oApproaching sensors are equipped at front of moveable platform which can automatically actuate braking system of the stairs to stop vehicle when it closely access to the aircraft doors.
